UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS SINGAPORE

Happy to see the launch of the University of the Arts Singapore (UAS), the first and only arts university in Singapore. Look forward to a new generation of artists, designers, educators, researchers, arts leaders and changemakers. UAS is founded on an alliance of Singapore’s pioneering and leading arts institutions, Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) where I graduated 20 years ago, together with LASALLE College of the Arts (LASALLE).

Located in the heart of the arts and civic district, LASALLE and NAFA are distinguished by unique heritages, strong artistic traditions, and innovative teaching approaches. The school will be welcoming her first intake in 2024, with LASALLE and NAFA offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with degrees awarded by UAS.
