Finding Vivian Maier

Ok... I finally get to watch Finding Vivian Maier in "A Design Film Festival Singapore 2014". Thanks to Anonymous.(Anonymous is a design film in Singapore in case u asking who is Anonymous.) And then who is Vivian Maier? She was hailed as one of the greatest street photographers of the 20th century now but was a full time nanny during her time and secretly shot over 100,000 photos without publishing it. Many of her negatives remained undeveloped when she passed away in 2009. Unbelievable!

Finding Vivian Maier is a tantalizing and fascinating film and very time her photos flashes across the screen, there is no denial of her genius. I have to give credit to John Maloof's determination in bringing her work into the public view. Without him, no one will know of Vivian Maier although this might not be what she want.
